San Antonio Light- Today is the day named for the marriage of the accomplished Miss Mollie Bennett, daughter of Mr. Sam C. Bennett, with J. T. Bradley of Sweetwater, but there is no wedding. Mr. Bradley’s father fell from a scaffold at Caddo Station, Indian Territory on Monday and is so injured that he is not expected to live. As a dutiful son, Mr. Bradley was obliged to be at his father’s bed side, and left San Antonio on Monday night.
This is the second time that the wedding has been postponed. The loving couple were to have been married a year ago, but the death of Mr. Bradley’s mother prevented the marriage.
