is amazing! She is not only smart, kind, funny, and talented, but she plays golf with more passion and skill than many adults. This week even though her team, the Pitman Pride, lost a Central California Conference matchup to the Turlock High Bulldogs, our Taylor had the best score of the day! The best of the Bulldogs shot 43 and Taylor shot 39 (nine holes).
And this was announced in the Modesto Bee yesterday: “The 21st Andy Silva Memorial Tournament, set for Saturday, Oct. 26 at Diablo Grande’s Legends course, has announced its finalists for Junior Player of the Year. For the boys, the finalists are Teo Chiesa (Turlock High), Landon Azevedo (Hilmar), and Anthony Bonales (Central Valley). The girls finalists are Mabel Wong (Oakdale), Taylor Beckwith (Pitman), and Brooke Riley (East Union).”
