My goodness, this week has just flown by! And doesn’t it seem that after Labor Day all the days until Christmas are scheduled and planned and laid out on a giant “To Do” list? I know all of my friends and family members have ball games and appointments and conferences scheduled for the next three months. Then there the fall and winter holidays looming ahead. Halloween items are arriving in stores. Thanksgiving plans are being made by those who will travel. I’ve already purchased a Christmas present!
It’s easy to get caught up in our plans for tomorrow and next week and next month and so on…sometimes to the point that we don’t enjoy the one day that we have. I’m as much of a planner as the next person, but sometimes I need a reminder:
King James Version (KJV)
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
