“He/She doesn’t do that at home.”
I’m sorry to be frank this morning, but of course your child “doesn’t do that at home”.
At home do they share a bathroom, playground, and lunch room with sixty other children?
At home do they have to be quiet when they walk around?
At home do they have to keep their hands off the person next to them?
At home do they have to wait patiently while you attend to the needs of nineteen other children?
At home are they expected to sit down, listen to directions, and write their color words?
School is an entirely different environment that requires a higher level of responsibility and behavior from your child than you expect at home.
