How did it get to be Wednesday night at 9:00 already??? My break is half over and I haven’t done half of the things on my “hope to do” list! Oh, well…I knew I wouldn’t have the strength or time to do everything. And now we are going to get some much-needed rain so I’ll have to postpone any other garden projects.
I did get a chance to clean up the downtown flower bed today. I can’t totally clean it because there are so many little flowers popping up, but I yanked out a lot of henbit and a few weeds. I hope our quick freeze on Monday is kind to the baby poppies and salvia and daisies.
I also worked for a few hours in our yard. I am SO happy with my new wagon! What a handy thing!
The rest of the day is a blur...spent two hours at the genealogy library, met some interesting people from Dallas, picked up my prescription, visited with the neighborhood livestock, finished my jig-saw puzzle, and managed to cook and clean a little. So…first official day of spring and I enjoyed every minute of it!! Hope you did, too.
