Why do we have to once again watch very well-paid grown men argue about why the best country in the world can’t take care of its elderly, educate its children, protect its citizens, arm its soldiers, and feed its hungry?

Why do we need to create hundreds of laws to prevent people from doing stupid things they know they should not be doing in the first place?

Why do people spend thousands of dollars each year on totally useless habits, toys, and entertainment and then complain that they can’t support their children?

Why are people willing to spend far more for pretty clothes than for healthy food?

Why do we give more time and media attention to criminals than we do to their victims?

Why do I spoil my day by watching the morning news?
