No, I didn’t get my blogs confused this morning. We just finished our letters to Santa in class and I was reminded of all the cute letters I’ve read in the old Caddo papers. So while this may be a repeat for some of you who read my Caddo blog, it is one of my favorite sets of letters and I wanted to share them with more people. By the way, no child in my class or home has ever said, “I’ll be satisfied with anything.” So sweet!

Dear Santa…
I am a little girl three years old and have to get my daddy to write my letter. Please bring me some little dishes, a little stove, and a sweet baby doll. I am being a good girl. Yours truly, Moderell Don Thompson. P. S.- Don’t forget all the other little girls and boys.
How are you getting along with your reindeers? I hope you don’t forget to come to see me. I want you to bring me a football and a cowboy suit and bebe gun, a top, and a sack of candy. I want you to be sure and write back to me soon. Goodbye, Thomas Henry Dorsey
How are you? Please bring me a set of dishes, a big doll, and a tricycle. That is all I want for Christmas, but be sure and bring me a lot of candy and fruit! With love, Addie Bob McGraw
I am a little girl. I am going to school. Please bring me something nice. I will be satisfied with anything. Lucille Adair
How are you? I am a good girl in school. My teacher is a good one, she lets me do lots of things for her. I am going to church and get the presents, and then I am going home and to bed and I will be asleep when you come. I am saving up money for Christmas. I will put an extra stocking up for my little cat named Billy and will you put some meat in it? I want some jumping shoes and a doll. With love, Maxine Gross
