I’m almost finished reading The Nurture Assumption and I can tell you that it has my head spinning with thoughts and memories and ideas about next year’s group of kindergarten students. I’m also reading lots of online articles- mostly long scholarly works with charts and graphs and statistics that require two cups of coffee. But it is all for a good cause and keeps my brain exercising while my body is being lazy. The main premise of the book is that the friends we make in childhood set the stage for who we become as adults. I’ll let you think about that overnight, and then I’ll tell you more about the book,…and more about my friends…tomorrow.
