One Pink Poppy

I was exhausted yesterday afternoon.

We have been testing, testing, testing at school.

I had some extra errands after school.

Our laundry basket was piled high so I started the washing machine.

I got an unexpected phone call (genealogy research) that required a few of my brain cells to stay alert.

My foot is still giving me problems and by 6pm it was at a pain level that I was very unhappy with.

So, I put our fish filets into the oven for dinner and walked out to feed the birds.

And saw this…

It was tossing around in the wind and my first thought was that it would be impossible to photograph. But I got the camera anyway and after ten tries I managed this one.

God always knows what I need to keep me going.
