Well, all my chicks are back in their nests! Karen and Taylor barely made it out of DFW before the tornadoes hit. Not the way I wanted their visit to end, but perhaps they will forget the experience eventually and be willing to return to Oklahoma some day! Both have to return to their regular work/school schedules today so I hope they got some rest last night. Katrina had a pretty typical flight and is our “world traveler” anyway, but even she was exhausted and I know her back must be bothering her after so much activity. Maybe everyone will catch up on their sleep this weekend. (Austin and Robert- you’re tough guys, get over it!) I just want to say again that I will never forget this!
Now I plan to catch up on editing and printing photos. So many great family shots from the weekend and a few nature shots I took here and there. I also have some weeds that need to be pulled in the garden. I have to get back to the Bennington church records. Ten people are waiting for cemetery photos. I need to buy a new aquarium and move some of my fish to it because our plecostomus is getting too big for the group he is with now. I want both tanks to be stable and functioning well before vacation. A little shopping to do. Eye doctor today.
Also have to catch up on some “thank you” cards and messages. It’s all good….
