Marking Time

I’m not sure what is so intriguing about the sight of a new calendar. Much of what we do next year won’t be any different from what we did during the year that just ended.

January 2012, like January 2011, will be filled with resolutions made and resolutions broken.

Tomorrow is just another day, significant only because we choose to make it so.

But I still get excited about the possibilities of a New Year.

I still hope that I will be a little better, kinder, healthier, happier, and perhaps even a little wealthier in 2012.

The new calendar isn’t magic, but perhaps it can be motivating….

So let’s have a Happy, Safe, Optimistic New Year!!!
