Since the news is filled with gloom and doom and the roadside views are filled with signs of the continuing drought, I had to post a little color this morning to cheer everyone. My tiny group of faithful bird friends does not seem to mind that it is hot and dry as long as I continue to water a few plants in the yard and keep their birdbath filled. And a few flowers, like the Susans and sunflowers, refuse to give up. We shall get through this together!
