Here is what good friends do on vacation:
Spent nearly two hours touring the Frisco Depot Museum in Hugo, and talking with the volunteer guide. Of course it turned out that we had mutual friends, and I promised him I would tell everyone to visit the museum this summer! So you’ve been told. I really do love this one because it includes so much area history and their wonderful old photos are all clearly identified and labeled.
Ate lunch at Molina’s, a great little Mexican restaurant downtown. They also have one in Mead. Cheese, rice, beans, chips. Hey, I’ve lost twelve pounds since school ended! Well, I probably regained a few today.
Visited the library and spent some time in their genealogy room. Did you honestly think for a minute I would pass that up?? Gary loves to read and I can park him in any library in the country for hours.
Stopped at WalMart because I remembered that I need a visor for tomorrow and my old one is pathetic.
Wandered through a local nursery and looked at some great plants, but passed. Too hot to be planting anything right now.
Gary twisted my arm so he could have a limeade from Braum’s and I got a SMALL chocolate shake to enjoy on the drive home. Yummy! Haven’t had one in four years!
Drove home laughing and talking.
More adventures with old people tomorrow. LOL

I've been through the Hugo Railroad Depot and the Museum when Choctaw county was one of the counties I covered in my job. It is a really neat place to go see and visit.
