I have been waiting patiently for this little iris to bloom. It’s my favorite and always the highlight of April. I know that I have this brief window of time to enjoy its beauty and then I have to wait patiently until next year to see it again. Patience is one of the great lessons of gardening.
I have also been waiting for this week of school: Easter- bunnies and eggs and stories of great weekend plans. Excited students. A little testing. Some great crafts. Four days. It will all be good!
I am waiting for Katrina to return from Canada with Hope. She is going home for the summer!
I am waiting to see the first printed copy of my new book. Almost ready…
Waiting two more weeks to see if my meatless diet has stabilized my cholesterol numbers. It has certainly improved the way I feel!
Waiting for my granddaughters’ birthdays- May 8! Yep- they share the same date!
Waiting for the end of school. I’m ready for some serious gardening and some major office cleaning!
Waiting for the wind to stop blowing. Yeah, like that will happen before July!
