Don’t get me wrong, I love this time of year! The garden is awakening. The birds are chattering. The critters are coming out of hibernation. New babies are appearing. However…this time of year creates many new chores for me to do AND coincides with all of the “end of the year” tasks of school. So, yesterday I stayed after school to make copies and last night found me still in the yard at 5:30, trying to give a drink to my new plants-since ONCE AGAIN the recent rain clouds skipped us entirely. Then I took a few quick photos, fed all the outside and inside critters, fixed our dinner, started some laundry, and spent a little time with hubby and NCIS. Uploaded my photos, read the mail, checked my email, finished the laundry, took a shower….collapsed. LOL No time for the school project still sitting on my desk. No time for three genealogy requests still on my list. No time for the new “Food Cures” book I just bought or the new issue of Prevention. No time.
Of course I do not have young children demanding my time. I do not have ballgames to attend.
But if my blog posts get shorter and there are fewer photos during the next few weeks you will understand. No time.
Have a glorious day!

Your pictures represent gifts of time! I hope you find more of it. Or less demands on the time you have. Or superpowers to bend time. Whatever would best suit your life.
