What is an Okie gardener supposed to when her flowers are beautiful but the wind is blowing 20mph? She stands patiently and waits for the 5 seconds when the wind is calmer and snaps a photo to share with her friends. And she hopes that the friends don’t mind that the photos aren’t breathtakingly sharp or wonderful.
I was just so determined to share the different colors and shapes with all of you who are still stuck in the snow! And it didn’t hurt that a sweet little cardinal decided to be cooperative for a moment or two.
Enjoy!

Thank you for braving the wind to share these. I don't have an eagle eye, so you totally fooled me that there was even a blip of wind. Lovely!

Loved your pictures! They look fine to me. Impressed that your ajuga is blooming already--it is such a nice companion to the bulbs. Thanks, Mary.

So, so beautiful. Yes, we have 5" of snow tonight. Low of 33* and high of 36*.
