Well, apparently the butterflies sent out invitations for one last garden party before our predicted freeze! It was 80 degrees yesterday and I just had to get out of the house for a while to stretch my legs. Of course I took the camera with me! But I didn’t expect to take many photos because the wind was blustering as usual and the yard looked dead. Then I walked around to the garden plot and the butterflies were so busy I didn’t know where to point the camera first. Luckily butterflies are creatures with good instincts and they were on the inside of the fence, out of the worst of the wind. The birds gathered later, after I refreshed the water in the birdbath. You know you live in Oklahoma when this happens just days before Thanksgiving!
