Anticipation

 

 

  

We are expecting a big storm today and I already hear the first rumblings of thunder. The wind is picking up. Soon the showers will begin. When we have a thunderstorm it sort of “rules the day”. There is no internet, no walk, no work in the garden. So I anticipate a morning of little projects (a bookshelf to assemble, letters to write) and perhaps an afternoon movie. Gary is off today. The car is in the shop getting a makeover. It’s all good…

Sounds like a perfect day. I love getting stuff done inside when I'm forced to stay there. Otherwise I just feel guilty that I can't do it all at the same time.
