Shut UP!!!!

Okay, I’ve said this before and it’s getting to be a daily pain in my ear. Stop talking on your phone in the store! It makes you sound stupid, especially if you are talking to an ear device that we can’t even see. Stop talking in the car! A man in a pickup swerved and nearly hit me yesterday because he was TALKING on his cell phone. Stop talking and texting AT WORK- McDonald’s, Lowe’s, school, offices- when you should be WORKING. Put the *%^& phone down and stop talking long enough to let me tell you something important about your child! I honestly had a parent try to talk to me while talking on the phone to someone else!!!

I frankly think that some people will not be happy until they have a cell phone implanted in their heads and they can just walk around talking 24/7. And I saw a report about a teenager who had sent 4,000 text messages in a month. Some people definitely have way too much free time!

I've had a repeat dinner guest over who texted the entire time: while we sat at the table eating, while we all played with our toddlers in the toyroom, etc. He did the same when we all went out as families. We stopped inviting him over. Tacky.
