Yes, I’m late with today’s post. I had a restless night, woke up at 3:30, finally got up at 3:55, and just felt “blah”. I’m a morning person and it’s unusual for me to drag around feeling tired. Of course the cold rain and howling wind might have had something to do with my mood. What a change from yesterday!
After Gary went to work at 6:30 I ate breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, did some laundry, hung our new drapes, made some minor changes in my office, and did some filing that has been piling up all week. Then I had an early lunch (11:30) and sat down on the couch for a nap. I woke up at 2pm!!!
The weather had cleared a bit by then and I scurried out to the compost pile with yesterday’s veggie peelings. Why didn’t I do it yesterday when it was 75 degrees???????? To my surprise the cows were huddled up in the corner. I’ve never seen them so close together. They often stand together during bad weather, but this was so amusing I went back to get the camera. What you can’t see in the photo is one cow way off to the side, grazing contently alone. She must have a much better tolerance for cold! LOL
I’m glad I had Gary light the heater before he left and I now believe the weatherman. He said that between tonight and tomorrow afternoon we might get 1-4” of snow. So…you know what I’ll be doing- sitting around here trying to stay warm. Hope it is better where you are.

Hope you're warm and snuggly today. I also hope that your plants aren't too shocked by your snow . . . What confusion! So much for your spring weather. You're having a Utah spring. LOL.
