My great niece, Jocelyn, informed me that garden fairies need a little protection from the cold winds of winter. Makes perfect sense to me! So I made a winter home for my little critters.

Hi, I read your post (I think) about the Caddo Herald from 1930 with the death of William Giles Ward. I have been doing genealogy on the Ward and Allen families for years (but only sporadically). My husband's grandmother was Cora Ward Allen, and his great-grandmother was Eliza Beck Ward, wife of William Giles Ward. Recent interest by our grand-daughter has spiked a new attempt to find out more.
