This has been the best break I’ve had in quite some time. I’ve been able to work on some projects, visit with friends and family, enjoy some great food, do some shopping, and even embrace the crisp fall weather. I went for a walk Friday and shared some photos on FaceBook. Here are some of my favorites from the day, and I put the rest in a photo album you’ll find in the left column.
I bought a few Christmas cards yesterday. The cashier at WalMart said, “We have Christmas cards already?” Duh. And I was so pleased to find something really different. They are “plantable” cards. The picture on the front is embedded with wildflower seeds! And the card itself is made from recycled paper and soy based ink. How green is that??
I spent three hours this morning creating a gift for someone. It was so much fun!
And someone left me a gift yesterday- a new elephant, which I quickly incorporated into my collection by filling him with flowers and placing him on our dining room table.
I hope you are having too much fun today!

Those were my favorite pictures too! A fun day crafting? I'm guessing you had a little furry "help"--I always do whether I'm crafting, typing or reading.
I've seen those cards advertised in magazines, but never in a store like WalMart. How cool! I hope we're on your Christmas list.
