I totally hope brain exercises catch on because I run across people all the time who are not flexing their grey matter.

Last year I read that a type of video game playing was proving successful with ADD/ADHD problems. It was helping retrain their brain to be less impulsive. (This was not mass marketed gaming, it was specifically developed for this type of thing and the kids were connected to computers to scan their brains while playing.)

I think it's hard to tell if gaming will help, but ANYTHING someone does to become a sharper, more productive member of society gets my vote--as long as it's legit. Playing HALO for 5 hours a day is just not going to cut it I think.
