Our landlord is a wonderful person. She is married to a kind man. She has great parents (I’ve known them forever.) Her aunt was married to my great-grandmother’s brother. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise to me when she does wonderful things. However, when we came home from dinner last night there were five potted trees- dogwood, red maple, apple, pear, peach- sitting around the yard! In a few minutes she and her husband arrived and announced that they were sharing her birthday present with us, and they proceeded to plant the trees in the yard! Afterwards I told her she is welcome to share any holiday with us!! LOL (BTW- Happy 50th Birthday, T!)
It is such moments of joy that bring us hope. No matter what the news says, there are good people in the world. We all know them and they don’t get enough credit!
Pray for my mom’s cousin, Pat, today. She is having surgery.
Yes, of course it is raining this morning! I have car duty…

This story makes me smile. Thank you for sharing the good news! Enjoy your new trees. and, wow! what a gift!!
happy belated mother's day. hope yours was a good one.
