Today is a new beginning for the Maurer family. Our son has lived with us since moving here from Arizona a couple of years ago. He had been working for a mortgage company and that just didn’t turn out well. Anyway, it took him a while to get a new job, save some money, and find a new place. He recently rented a nice little house in Denison, close to where he works. Yesterday he started moving his things. Unfortunately it rained most of the day, but he and a friend managed to get the major stuff moved between showers. We will help him finish this afternoon.
I missed Robert this morning. He is good company and we’ve had some great conversations. He is also a genius with electronics and has promised to be on “stand-by” for the rest of his life! Thank goodness he is still only a phone call and thirty minutes away if I need something installed or I need to purchase a new gadget.
Robert is also a good cook and now he has his own kitchen! Already given him notice…
Our house is also changing. We gave Robert some odds and ends of furniture, so we are moving things around and buying a couple of new pieces. Robert is installing new ceiling fans for us. I’m making some changes in the office and kitchen and spare room. It’s all good!
That kind of change is hard, but I'm glad he will only be 30 minutes away.~~Dee

I can't imagine the transition for you I guess, again, to have him moving out. I hope you won't miss him too much!
