So, along with the new computer came new software for editing photos. Of course my old program won’t work!! What were we thinking? It’s dated 2001. That’s like a hundred years old in the techno world. Think of it like dog years. Anyway, one more thing for this old dog to learn. Enough already! My poor little brain can’t take this much “new”.
I’m going to attempt to post a photo of yesterday’s visitor- a heron on the pond. If you are seeing it, I AM a genius. LOL No, don’t laugh. I am serious when I say that everything about this process was a “one step forward, three steps backwards” ordeal. I am a slow learner when it comes to this stuff because I’m so afraid of it. I have visions of locking up everything and seeing a black screen!
I think this is God’s plan for keeping me humble and keeping me in tune with my students. They must feel the same way about some of the things they are learning each day. “What is that woman blabbing about now??? What does she want me to do?” I’m constantly reminding them to “pay attention” and “use your listening ears”, but maybe for some of them it is just too much new too soon. I’m supposed to get their mid-year test results today. We shall see…

I see the heron!!!!
