Elephants

My daughter, Karen, told me about this elephant sanctuary in Arkansas. Check it out! I'm saving my quarters in my "elephant bank" (I actually have three) for the "Elephant Experience Weekend"! How cool is that??? Okay, not everyone's cup of tea...LOL

There is also an elephant sanctuary in Tennessee that has been featured on the news. I'm so happy that people have made it their mission in life to rescue these poor creatures.

Please note that the facility in Arkansas, regardless of what they call themselves, is a breeding farm. If you'd like to learn more about its founder, google Scott Riddle and look for articles about his training methods.

The Elephant Sanctuary in Tenn, on the other hand, is one of the only two accredited elephant sanctuaries and is the leader in enlightened management of captive elephants.
