If I have posted this before, I make no apologies. Some things just bear repeating in hopes that they will be appreciated by a new audience. LOL

A Girl’s Education
A girl’s education is most incomplete unless she has learned:
To sew.
To cook.
To mend.
To be gentle.
To value time.
To dress neatly.
To keep a secret.
To avoid idleness.
To be self-reliant.
To darn stockings.
To respect old age.
To make good bread.
To keep a house tidy.
To be above gossiping.
To make a home happy.
To control her temper.
To take care of the sick.
To sweep down cob webs.
To take care of the baby.
To marry a man for his worth.
To read the very best of books.
To take plenty of active exercise.
To be a helpmate to her husband.
To keep clear of trashy literature.
To be light hearted and fleet footed.
To be a womanly woman under all circumstances.

crap! i've got a lot of studying to do! ... LOL ... just what I needed to cheer me up on this bitterly cold winter morning. peace & love
