I don't blog a lot about school because of privacy issues, but I want everyone to know we had a GREAT first day in kindergarten. I'm looking forward to working with my new group and I think they will be excellent students.
Physically I was a wreck last night! LOL You don't realize how lazy you get during the summer! After standing and stooping and walking around little bodies all day I was ready for a nap. I went home and slept on the couch for 45 minutes. Can't make that a habit, but for the first few days I think its a good plan.
I've had some wonderful contacts from readers this week. They've sent me some information about my own family, some photos, and some Caddo information that you'll see on my other blog at some time. I'm constantly amazed by how the internet has changed and enhanced my life. Being able to communicate with people all over the world is a daily blessing.
Gary watched the Olympics last night while I got caught up on a few other things. However, he did call me into the living room to watch the food report. NO I am not going to start catching our scorpions and serving them on a stick!! A woman has to draw the line somewhere! I vowed long ago to never eat anything I could step on. I think the strangest thing I've ever eaten is hog's brains, or perhaps squirrel. I'm not one of those daring food connoisseurs.
Lots of things I should probably plan to do tonight, but my mantra for the week is "it can wait". Have a great day!
