Surprises

I love surprises, especially really good ones. My cousin Billy sent me this precious photo. (These are the times I love technology.)

The young man in the middle is my grandfather, Lee Simmons (1907-1975). He is holding his baby brother, Bennie Joe (1921-1983). That's his sister Irine (1912-1973) and his brother Hubert (1916-1933). I have very few photos of my grandfather as a child and I had never seen this one.

She also sent this photo of Lee's sisters Patsy and Peggy with Irine's children. Back row is Peggy Simmons, Billy Hibdon, Louie Hibdon, Patsy Simmons, Charley Hibdon (baby). In the front row are Bob Henry Hibdon and Arvel Hibdon.
