That's how old my husband will be tomorrow. He's a great guy and I'm blessed to still have him around. We've been together for just over thirty-five years. Sometimes it seems as though our life together has passed by at warp speed. Other times I'm amazed by the seemingly endless list of experiences we've shared. I hope we both share at least another couple of decades together. Happy Birthday sweetie!!
It's been a long week. Lots to do and little time to do it. I've had several random things I've wanted to blog about, but just haven't gotten to them. I especially wanted to mention the stars. I've been looking at the stars each morning as I'm waiting for the coffee to brew. The stars are so much clearer out here. Fewer trees and security lights in the way. They are just so awesome! We don't give God enough credit for the stars. I guess because we seldom take the time to look at them.
This has been a "scorpion week". The things are driving me nuts! One crawled out from under the toaster while I was cooking! Another ran across the floor while we were watching television. There was one on the back porch. Yuk, yuk, yuk! Anyone know if they go dormant in the winter? I need to look that up. Soon....
I'm going to be sore in the morning. Fell again tonight. This is my third fall since moving here. There is just something about this kitchen floor that is out to get me. The least drop of water sends me flying. And I don't need to fall...ever. My knee and hip are already aching.
Watched the first episode of the new Survivor. I don't know why I like that silly show, but I do. Some of it is predictable by now, but the surprises are what keep me watching. You just never know what people will do!
Well, it's getting close to an old woman's bedtime. Maybe I'll have better thoughts this weekend and write something worth reading. Thanks for hanging in there! I really appreciate everyone who takes time out of their own busy life to care about mine.
