We are slowly, but surely, recovering from being sick and frozen. I'm getting my voice back and I can almost sing again (something essential in kindergarten). Gary is still at the raspy stage, but is feeling better.
The snow is gone. We had two days of light snow, but very little ice this time. The weather is so different between home and work that sometimes it seems like I work in another country. It was clear and dry at work! People think I'm crazy when I talk about the temperature and weather conditions being so different just 50 miles away, but they really are and sometimes that makes going to work somewhat dangerous.
We're having computer problems again and I'm lucky to be able to post this. I can't get Word to open. It keeps giving me this message about resources being low. However, I used it this morning without any problems and have since deleted about 100 photos from my files. Took off one of my writing programs that I only use in the summer. What else does this wicked machine want from me?? Any tech geeks want to help me out here? Probably getting ready to die.
Speaking of die, which is really an awkward segue, I think our visiting puppy must have died. There was a huge, half-eaten mushroom next to her food dish and I haven't seen her since Tuesday. Anyone know anything about mushrooms and dogs?
For those of you who read "Stories Too Long" or my Caddo blog, I'll try to post tomorrow if Word will cooperate. Later...

did Robert help you with this? if not, I'll call you tomorrow & talk through clearing up some resources.
