Well, I’ve always said I’m a flexible person. So now is my chance to prove it. Our landlord is selling her house and we are going to have to move soon. We’ve been here thirteen mostly enjoyable years. Had a wonderful garden and a good neighbor. Now it’s time to move on to the next home and a new garden and a whole new set of experiences. I’m told that change keeps us young!
Oh, I know those of you who own your own home think that is the only way to go and you don’t understand why we’ve rented so long. I understand the advantages and disadvantages of both. We’ve owned two houses. And you know I’ve lived in everything from a van to a fifteen room house. After 50+ moves I’m still a gypsy at heart and I would LOVE to live in a travel trailer. I kid you not. My friends have been camped at Yuma, AZ for a month and I’d love to be right beside them. Maybe when we retire.
I have faith that God has something good planned for us. We’ve already experienced the split of our church family. I let my principal know last month that I won’t be returning next year and I’m trusting the Lord to help me find a job “closer to home”. Now I don’t even know where home is going to be. Our life could be in turmoil, but I feel a sense of peace.
I think it’s our actions that show our faith. We continue to visit other churches. I continue to teach my class with the same dedication that I had last year. I’ll start packing up the mementos in the dining room this weekend. I’ll just continue to live and to go forward…and see where God leads us. Keep reading and we’ll find out together.

Good Luck! I hope your computer doesn't get unplugged too long.
