I began the weekend with some Christmas shopping at Craighead's. Belinda's "store kitty" tried to join me, and eventually did slip inside with another customer. She waits for Belinda each morning, and after breakfast begs a little attention from anyone who happens by. She and her companion love to sleep on warm cars!
I bought some cute ornaments, a book for my friend, and another coffee cup for my collection. ( I LOVE coffee cups.) Everyone seemed to be having a good time celebrating the anniversary of the store. For more pictures go to Caddo, then click on "shopping and services".
We spent a quiet day today, doing errands, taking care of some small projects, and watching a movie. Sometimes it's nice to just go through the day without an agenda.
Finally got some photos back from the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge where we went on a nature hike last weekend. Even though the trees are nearly bare, it's a wonderful place to visit. We enjoyed watching the birds, and plan to return again. The old structures left from the Washita Farms are very interesting too.
