Please don’t come to my house this week. The yard is a mess. The floors are dirty. The ironing isn’t done. There are papers and photos and projects stacked everywhere. This is countdown week. Five days until Heritage Day! Yikes! Today I bought thirty plants from the Lowe's clearance rack to "fill in" some of the flowerbeds around town.
Tonight we staked off the new wildflower bed and planted it.
Monday night is our “final plans” CCA meeting.
Tuesday night we are planting the DQ flowerbed.
Wednesday night we are planting the theatre flowerbed and the downtown pots.
Thursday night we are finishing the handouts for the TRAC booth.
Friday night we are doing any last minute decorating, planting, and such that didn’t get done during the week.
Saturday, 7am- reporting for duty…
So if you don’t hear from me this week you’ll know I’m not sick, just tired and a little cranky. 
In the meantime, call in the guys. Here are some shots from the car show we went to several weeks ago at Boggy Depot. (You'll notice one of them has a hastily painted spot in the background. There was a partially naked person there and I really didn't have time to make him look pretty!)
