Call this the "commercial break" or whatever you want. Our little town's annual Heritage Day celebration is next month and I just felt like doing a some advertising. I've chosen some generic photos from past events and I hope no one objects to having their face on my blog.
Heritage Day is our way of remembering the past and paying our respects to the families that have endured all the changes Caddo has seen over the years. Since the highway bypassed us years ago, Caddo's population has ebbed and flowed with the economic tide, but a few families have been here since this was the Indian Territory. We have a fine school system, great churches, a fascinating museum and several thriving businesses. If you aren't busy October 1 drop by Caddo, Oklahoma and stay for a visit. We'll be happy to show you around!
