Parents

I had the privilege of meeting with many of my students’ parents last Thursday night. Yes, I see some of them on a daily or weekly basis, but it is still good to sit down from time to time and discuss specific issues and goals.

My students arrive in my classroom with a little file that tells me the basics of their life history, but it doesn’t begin to give me the insights that I gain from the people who know them best- their parents. I am grateful for their advice and encouragement!
