I greeted one of my students yesterday and he looked at me with a puzzled expression.
“Do you work here?”
I wasn’t quite sure how to respond.

We’ve been talking about families and relationships.
Yesterday I asked, “What is a grandmother?”
Girl on the front row: “An old woman who loves you and takes care of you.”
_
A boy was accused by another student of standing on the urinal.
“Did you do that?”
“No. . .Well, I don’t think so. Yes.”

We discussed feelings and “made a face” for each one.
We talked about how our body feels when we are happy, sad, scared.
I asked what we usually do when we are scared. Some of my students said “run”. I told them sometimes I shut my eyes.
One of my boys laughed and said, “Well then you can’t see what’s going to get you!”
