Two simple sentences for writing practice…so much information behind them! We have read about baby chickens and parent chickens. We’ve discussed colors and sizes and names of chickens. We’ve talked about food for chickens, eggs for us. (No discussions of nuggets!)There have been thoughts about how crowded it is in an egg- “like being in a room with all the people in the world”. There have been comments about pet chickens and safety from coyotes. Discussions of other animals that hatch from eggs. All in all, a great lesson for spring!
