The students of Caddo High will be interested to learn of the recent marriage of Edna Hodge and Louis Hampton. Edna was one of our seniors. We are sorry to lose her from our class. We wish her much success and happiness.

An article titled “Things to Remember in a Café”, written by Betty Reese and illustrated by Tommie Jo Troxell, appeared in the March issue of the Future Homemakers of Oklahoma release “Ralliquette”.

Mr. and Mrs. Hatsell Powell listed as their guests Sunday at a luncheon: Mr. and Mrs. Jim Frazier, Clifton Hill, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Lowery Kilgore, Huntsville, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. George Frazier, Caddo, and Mrs. Margie Sue Simpson and son of Lindsey, Okla.
Mrs. Hershel Morrow Honored at China and Crystal Shower
Miss Mary McIntosh, Miss Ruth Cochran and Miss Caroline Nail were hostesses Saturday evening to a china and crystal shower at the community Building, honoring Mrs. Hershel Morrow. The building was beautifully decorated with spring flowers for the occasion and many places of crystal and china were presented to the honoree. Mrs. Morrow is the former Miss Billy Ruth Baxter.

Former Caddo Citizens Safe in Amarillo Storm
Jack Craighead received a telegram Tuesday from his brothers, Elmer and Frank Craighead of Amarillo, stating that they and their families were unharmed by the tornado that struck Amarillo last Sunday night. The telegram stated that “We are all safe after tornado.” Other former Caddo residents and relatives of people here were in Amarillo at the time of the tornado, but no injuries were reported here.

The seventh grade honored their sponsor, Mrs. Leota Seago with a dinner Wednesday, May 18 at noon. They presented her with some lovely gifts as a token of appreciation for her having been such a good sponsor.
