Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Pierson were called to Pittsburg, Okla. Wednesday to attend the burial of Mrs. Pierson’s uncle- Ben McCutehan- who had lived to the age of eighty years.
The biggest ball games of the season and perhaps the hardest battles on the diamond for some time to come will take place here Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Sulphur Springs, Texas ball team will be here. This is the champion base ball team of North Texas and it takes a good team to get a game from those “huskies” but the Caddo boys believe they are equal to the emergency.
