The Caddo Herald
March 14, 1919
Mrs. Florence Galloway is a citizen of Caddo who is at present in a very unfortunate and humiliating condition. She needs help and wants work. She will wash and iron if the work is taken to her home. She has three small children and cannot leave home to work or get work. Her neighbors commend her as a very deserving and good woman. Her husband went to Sand Springs to work, took the flu, developed pneumonia, and is still unable to work. His father went to attend him and he also got sick and a brother from Arkansas has both at his home.
If you have work, see Mrs. Galloway. She lives in one of Mr. Overstreet’s houses- the last house at the end of Ainsworth Street, third house west of Mr. Joe Black’s home.
