The Caddo Herald
October 21, 1921
A class meeting was called by the president at the 4th period, Monday, October 10th. The purpose of this meeting was to plan a ‘possum hunt, but after talking with Mr. Shaw we decided to call it off until Friday.
At the third and fourth periods, Thursday, October 13, the Seniors met for the purpose of selecting rings, pins, and diplomas. Mr. Wakefield, a salesman, met with us and showed us his selections. Every member of the class decided on the same style of ring without any fusses, which usually occurs at such meetings. We didn’t decide on the book-form diploma during this meeting, as we thought it better to discuss the question a little more.

On account of the illness of Mrs. Payne Thursday afternoon, Pauline Shelby, one of the Seniors, took her place as teacher.
Miss Moore has put a stop to “goober” eating in history class.
Pauline is all in a whirl, when she is without a spit-curl.
The Seniors were overjoyed today when the ring man arrived, because they got out of their history and English classes.
Carl is improving on his American history lessons daily.
