W. M. Society
The Woman’s Missionary Society met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Pace with Mesdames McIntosh, Sessions, and Pace as hostesses.
Sixteen members answered to roll call, three visitors, Mrs. G. B. Moran of Altus, Mrs. M. A. Linch and Mrs. Overstreet.
All officers gave good reports.
We are very sorry to lose Mesdames Beck, Dale, and C. A. Wood who are leaving town.
Finance committee for the second quarter had raised $68.50 to be applied on the indebtedness of remodeling the club house.
A very interesting social service was discussed.
Those assisting with program were Mrs. C. A. Wood and Mrs. C. A. Hancock; closing prayer, Mrs. Moran.
A delicious plate lunch was served.
High waters all round, but so far Caddo has been spared flood conditions. The plentiful rains were gentle in their fall and did very little damage.
