A Worthy Work
An organization of young men of Caddo has been completed which has for its purpose the uplifting and ennobling of all with whom it comes in contact. It is the Young Men’s Bible Class and prayer meeting which meets each Tuesday night at the Baptist Church. It is composed of young men of every church in town and their meetings are replete with music, literary entertainment and Bible study.
Their second meeting was held Tuesday night and Art Wright was elected president; Hugh Johnson, vice-president; Preston Malone, secretary; and Will Rowsey, treasurer. Officers will serve only a month at a time, when others will be elected- a plan which will in turn give each member a chance to serve in every capacity.
The music is one of the special features, being conducted by William Harrison, Ellis Smith, and Talmage Markham, with the piano and violin, and the young men have a good male choir.
Everyone is cordially invited to attend these meetings and all young men in town are invited to become members. The purposes of this organization are worthy and the efforts of any man, and should be encouraged by every means.
