Louis Cochran, who was charged with killing Z. T. Sampson at Coleman recently, was given a preliminary hearing at Coleman last Saturday. County Attorney French represented the State and the case was heard before Squire Hardy, justice of the peace at Coleman. Cochran was exonerated and released from custody.
