The Woman’s Missionary Society held its regular meeting Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. W. R. Evans and rms. G. C. Braudrick at the home of the former, with 18 members present. One new member, Mrs. J. W. Smith was gladly received.
The subject, “Working with Mexicans Here and There” was taken up with Mrs. Hancock as leader. Mrs. Virgil Slack gave the special number: “My Missionary Society for 1923”. Mrs. Hancock was assisted by Mrs. McIntosh, Mrs. Tom Gross, Mrs. J. C. Hogan, Mrs. Roy L. Cochran, and Mrs. Carl Johnson.
Mrs. Dale gave a very interesting report of the meeting held at Tishomingo.
The Society will hold its Spring Bonnet and Apron Bazaar at the Tea Room, March 3rd. Mission Study Class will meet next Tuesday with Mrs. W. R. Evans. Refreshments in keeping with Washington ’s Birthday were served.
