J. B. Stapleton, aged about 65 years died suddenly at his home two miles southeast of Caddo Wednesday morning at 4:30 o’clock.
Mr. Stapleton was in apparent good health; had gathered two loads of corn the day before.
Deceased had started to arise, had his feet on the floor, then gave a gasp and fell back dead.
Mr. Stapleton was a man of fine character, of good principles, and had lots of friends and is survived by his wife and several grown children.
