Woodmen Team to Norman
The Uniform Rank team of the Caddo Camp of W. O. W. left Monday on the Flyer for Norman to take part in the tri-state encampment of the Uniform Ranks. The encampment will be participated in by about a hundred teams from Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Three teams from Bryan county will take Part: Caddo, Achille, and Durant; Boswell and Soper will also be represented as will Atoka and Ada, all in the jurisdiction of Scott Powell who is deputy for it, which shows that he has worked hard for his order.
The Caddo team is under command of Captain Geo. H. Frazier, who has labored hard to bring the team up to perfection and he takes with him twenty men so as to be prepared for every emergency. Major Doug Williams has charge of the three Bryan county companies and he certainly looks the part when dressed in his regimentals.
The team is composed of Major D. B. Williams, Adjutant I. S. Powell, Captain Geo. H. Frazier, Geo. C. Rorie, C. E. Thompson, A. E. Finley, Nathan Smith, Ollie Smith, Tom Smith, Ron Smith, Haymond Gardner, Isaac McCoy, Ewell Slayton, Lonnie Young, Lester Holland, Frank Hatcher, Shearl Shofner, James Shofner, Q. B. Moran , Wm. Harrison, Elmer Jenson, Wayne Braudrick and S. G. Pherigo. Mrs. Geo. H. Frazier also went with the team and will visit relatives in Norman.
