John T. Petty
Friday, Dec. 22- Funeral services for John T. Petty, Bryan County pioneer and a resident of Caddo for many years, were conducted this afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church in Caddo. Mr. Petty, who was 74 years of age, is well known over the southeastern part of the state. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Will Semple and Miss Janice Petty, Tulsa; and two sons, Carl Petty, Caddo and Bonner Petty, Vinita.

John T. Petty, aged 71 years, died suddenly Friday morning about 2 o’clock of complications arising from bronchial pneumonia. Mr. Petty was a pioneer citizen of Bryan County. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church at 3 o’clock with Rev. Ebenezer Hotchkin in charge. Interment in the Caddo Cemetery.
